AutoShut

Say you want to shut down your Windows-powered PC. AutoShut (formerly AutoShutter) provides three means of doing so:
1. Click a button on AutoShut’s interface. From the Quick Execute menu you can shut down your PC with a simple mouse click.
2. Use a hotkey. The one assigned to the shut down function is Ctrl + 0.
3. Schedule the shut down task. AutoShut will automatically shut down the PC at the time you specify.

You will have to complete a simple installation process to get AutoShut up and running on your PC. Once the setup wizard is done installing AutoShut on your PC, it will launch your default web browser and take you to SoftReckon’s official Facebook page.

By default, AutoShut uses the Metropolis skin. Two other skins are available: Mac OS and Windows 8.
Three panels are presented on the application’s interface. The one to the left displays the current time and date (click the data and the clock to change the date/hour format). The one in the middle allows you to set a time and choose a power management function. The one to the right allows you to enable the function you selected.

Several power management functions can be selected: shut down, restart, hibernate, suspend, log off.
Several other functions can be selected as well: alarm, launch file.

You can set it so your PC will be shut down automatically at 8PM today. You can set it so your PC will run an alarm tomorrow, at noon. Or you can set it so a certain file will be launched next Friday at 2PM.
